I looked at 3 different places and came up empty today. The OD is 1 7/8”. Or I’m sure the equivalent metric would work as well. I found plenty with the right diameter but none thick enough. I too am curious at the correct dimensions that would be a successful fit.

Hi gents, supposed to drive to a show tomorrow so took the 31 out for a rip and ended up puking rad fluid all over the car. Upon further investigation I stumbled upon my own stupidity and forgot to install the gasket that goes under the flip portion of the cap:mad:! It’s gone, vanished...

Not 100 percent sure it’s a model A part. It bolts right on to the block just above the bell housing as it should. As mentioned the linkage works great. Anyway, I just finished grinding it down and cutting threads in it. Took 10 minutes and pedal screws on tight. Thanks for your input guys!

Hey gents, so I bought a screw on gas pedal as my car was missing one. Turns out upon closer inspection that have a flange or knob at the end of my linkage where the pedal is supposed to go. Did the model A ever have this? Or is it from a different model??? Any ideas on what to do? Grind it...

Thanks for all the replies you guys. The engine is timed and runs very well. I won’t worry about the position of the rotor as far as play goes once the engine is stopped. Just one of those “but shouldn’t it do this” questions when you lay awake at night🫤

I didn’t describe that very well, the movement I see on the rotor is the movement of the play in the shaft. The rotor itself is snug on the cam.

It looks like the mounting brackets are different from the powerhouse. Will I need to do any mods to install the correct or non Powerhouse gen? Or should it bolt right in?

So possibly my issue? Could be 50 other things too……but have to start somewhere.

One more thing before I throw in the towel on the powerhouse. Is the field terminal that comes out of the gen body supposed to be isolated from the body itself? I have continuity from the terminal to the case or body. Obviously my strong point is not 6 volt electrical ☹️

Thanks for all the info….got an analog meter and it read no problems at all. So that was it. Bad news is the gen isn’t working. Measured after the cut out and then bypassed it…..nothing. It does motor when you apply power and remove the belt, but it barely turns and you always have to give it...

The ammeter is broken, needle broke off, as mentioned it is connected and has continuity. Waiting for new one to arrive.
