I'm using the Speedway kit, and ready to slide it in. The new TOB is the same as the original (has a place to hook the small spring) but there is no provision on the bell housing to hook the spring. Has anyone solved this problem? How?

My 40 pickup's stock engine is cracked 3"along the pan rail between the pan screw holes and the edge of the block. And an inch into the inner side of the block L shaped, At the center bearing. I think it was caused by frozen water because it doesn't appear to be stress. any thoughts on a fix?

I'm having trouble putting the front spring back on my 40 pickup. I'm using new shackles 1 1/2" long like the one's that came off. It's about an inch short of making it. Any ideas?
