Having trouble getting copper tube in oil supply line. I've got it in about 7/8" looks like it needs to go at least another 1/2" . any one have this problem and if you did how did you get it in.

Recently Had to change harmonic balancer on my daughters truck. Got me thinking, when did Ford start using harmonic balancer? And could one be modified to work on the Model A? And would it be worth while?

I see the article on shrinking spokes with heat to straighten wire wheels. It shows it for Model A wheels. Just wondering if this would work on 16 inch wire wheels.

The cable I'm referring to is the one that came in the kit I got when I change over to the T-5 overdrive. the cable is 10 feet long. Would be expense to replace. the end that goes to the transmission side is broke off. Does any one know some one who repairs these on maybe a home repair.

Sat. on Model A day, drove for an hour in the rain. Not a hard rain but steady. After about 40 min. started leaking through, where the wind shield hinges. Is there an easy fix for this?

Did a search but didn't find a answer to my question. Does any one no the ID of the rear hub for the bearing. And also what is the max. tolerance of the bearing fit. Maybe some one would have a new hub and could measure the ID . Would be thankful for any help.

Everything lines up on these two cases. The difference is where the front motor mount sets. On the one that is primed there is a #3 stamped right above the hole for the front crankshaft seal. The other one has a #2 stamped. Could these be from different production years.:confused:
