Does the slotted part that the clamp goes around come off?. I bought a air cleaner and it has the smaller center inside but the clamp and the other slotted part that goes around the carb is missing and it doesn't look like it's been cutoff.

Looking for: -Good used battery tray -Junk door locks, I need the spring and long bar from them -The air dam on top of the radiator -Oil bath air cleaner Local is better for at least the large parts. Let me know what you have. Thanks

I have a '51 wagon that's going to 12v. I haven't had time to check out the size of the solenoid....but I do remember it was close to the floor. Does the wagons have a special shorter solenoid for the o/d unit or can I use any 12v solenoid.

I have a few questions. 1. Does anyone know if the door lock square bar and spring to hold the bar in place are reproduced? 2. Does anyone know how long the bar needs to be for a '51 Wagon door. I don't have the car here and need to pull a door panel to check but I'm thinking maybe 6" long...

Are the orginal fuel tank sender worth paying the high price or will something like a Dennis Carpenter send work ok with a stock gauge. The Car is going to 12v but everything else is going back to stock or close.

I've read a bunch of posts and maybe I missed it, but what do the stamped numbers on the senders themselves mean.
