Set the body on the frame and there seems to be a problem. There is about 3/4 inch gap between the sub rail and the frame at the rear bolt location. Body is sitting on the stanchions on the bumper supports. The stanchions are the correct 3 inch height. When I try to tighten the body bolts...

We have a 1929 Fordor Murray Town Sedan that came to us needing a total restoration. Starting to work on the body now. The cowl band is in good shape but needs replating. I could use any info on cowl band removal, i.e. Dos, Don'ts, recomendations, documentation etc. Thanks, Ed
