    help me narrow down oil selection

    So I have a 31' coupe. We have owned it 6 weeks. Changed the oil when we first got it. Put in O'Reily 10W-30 full synthetic. Seems to drip quite a bit from around the oil pan.     The brake adjuster doesnt seem to "click" like the others. Is there a simple answer for this?

    top of radiator shroud hot

    Is it normal after an in town drive that the top of the shroud around the cap would be too hot to touch? Its in the 80’s outside and very humid. Also, i notice the engine seems alot more sluggish when its humid.

    fuel dripping out back of carb

    So I finally figured out that the GAV wasn't vibrating open, it was just play in the rod. So I tried to set it to drive about 1/4 open yesterday and there was fuel pouring out of the back of the carb where the chock opening is. The drip wouldn't stop until I completely closed the GAV. So it...

    running with GAV fully closed

    We have a new to us 1931. We have had it for two weeks and we are learning a lot. We have driven about 100 miles. Apparently we have been driving with the GAV fully closed.     GAV wont stay put

    We have 31'. The GAV moves freely and can adjust it for starting. Once your headed down the road and you try to close it up(clockwise) it just vibrates itself back to about 1/2 a turn open and then sticks there. Any suggestions on how to remedy this? I believe we have a Zenith 2 carb.
