I want to install a battery disconnect switch on my 47 car. 1. does it matter if it states 6-48 volt or 12-48 volt, will both work on 47 6volt system ? 2. what is the proper way to hook it up to a 6 volt positive ground system 3. what size cable should i use ? Thanks

Is there a way to check whether a relay is 6 volt or 12 volt ? I bought a relay that's suppose to 6 volt but has no marking on it.

This might be a question for a person with limited knowledge ( that's me ) to ask. Does a relay have to be 6 volt or 12 volt to be used in my 47 stock car or does it matter ?

Could someone tell how to adjust 47 car door glass ? My door glass has developed a hairline crack starting from the top of the window that fits into the channel. I see there are 2 rivet like steel pieces near the top of the channel was likely the cause of the it being crack or am I missing...

Well I finished all the rear tail/brake/signal light nightmare and all is working as it should thanks to the diagram of that system. Now my right front park and signal lights don't work. Anyone have a close-up diagram of that system ? Did I mention that I hate wiring.

I have a 47 car that no matter what I do I just can't get bright enough taillights I have try pretty well everything. Is there a 6 volt led taillight bulb that would fit my 47 car that maybe be plug and play ?

I went to start my 47 and when I push the starter button it just click's. The battery is fully charged. I tried the touching the terminals on the solnoid, still just click's. The cables are tight and clean. Any ideas ?

I have a 1947 car which I replaced the m/c and all the brake lines. Now I can't get a good pedal of brakes. I've benched bled the m/c and bled all the lines 4 times. I did get a good pedal once (smile) then 1 hr later it was 1/4 pedal. There are fluid leaks anywhere. Any ideas ?
