My project 40 ford truck has a 6v system..but I'm missing my generator. The battery is still in and was hooked up....I'm thinking of converting to 12v so I can have a few modern accessories....my resto will be as close to stock as possible....what are the pros and con's to a 12v...

My 40 Ford truck has what looks like overload springs. Are these something someone added on?if not needed I'd like to remove them and keep the stock leaf springs .The leaf springs I'll remove, clean up and restore.Im also going to redo those shock mounts.and install adjustable coil over shocks

Good morning, since I don't have a stock fan set up I was considering using an electric fan. I think it might cool better, may take some load off the stock engine and since I don't have a stock fan and pully set up I could use that money towards the electric fan...Any advice

My truck came with added on shocks and coil springs in addition to the single leaf set up.the stock shocks are gone.i can reuse the aftermarket shock mounts with some dressing up but are the coil springs necessary?

What is the benefits of removing the whole front clip vs removing one fender at a time and then grill ect? It seems easier to do the hammer and dent removal completely dis assembled.Im totally new and excited to start.Thanks
