anyone know how to get a 1948 buick left side axle to come apart . right side is ok. left snapped. i have a replacement part.:(

a short time ago I posted about my 48 buick made a loud bang after trying to start off up hill . finally got a chance to check rear. all gears look like new . no metal pieces in oil. answer was the driver side (left) axle snapped. guess that would be why it wont move. thanks for the help.:D

I have a 1948 buick super . it seems something let go in the rear the left tire has play any ideas? car will not move but speedo moves when gas is pressed. had loud bang when this happened . also left tire sticks out a little more then normal.

hi fellas...i was at a local car show yesterday . i was only like 30 deg . so i only stayed for and hour . on the way home i was doing around 40 out of nowhere i got a big thumping noise from one of my front tires. pulled over found nothing . my tire are kinda old but still have life left ...

i cant remember what a 6 volt battery full charge should read on a meter. mine read 6.3 volts. thinking maybe little low. any help would be great. thank you in advance:o

last month i posted a but my 46 ford super deluxe . it was popping very loudly from tail pipe . took some time but i found a new old stock cap for my distributor . put new cap on fit great also found loose wire from coil to distributor . car now runs like nothing was ever wrong. :D

hello, i was working on my 1946 ford 59ab . it made a loud popping from tail pipe . i looked a my cap and rotor . heavy carbon tracks . called bob drakes . had my parts in stock. only had one cap in stock . got them tried to put cap on its made wrong wont fit . so i called and all they can do is...

i took my 46 out just around the block.. ran really well...drove for maybe half hour pulled in driveway then sputtered and shut down....set my choke then pumped gas pedal like crazy ..it started up . small hesitating for a few seconds then drove fine into garage ... changed condenser after this...
