    39 brake pedal bushings

OK, this bushing (1939 only, 91A 7526; 1.92"L x 1.193" ID x 1.254" OD)is made of unobtainium at this point. I have spent a buttload of time trying to find replacement bushings and I now know why they are no longer made. So has anyone ever looked at using Delrin as a bushing here? Have to hog...

    1936 Model 67 vs 68 Pickups

The more I learn about 1936 pickups the more questions.... I have assumed I had a '36 67-830 model 1/2 ton pickup. But I have never seen on paper what the differences are between the two models of 1/2 pickups. Why two different models? And why can't I see any differences when I look at pics of...

    35-41 Ford frames hole locations

Anyone here in Fordland have/know of a source of drawings with which to locate the various holes drilled into the sides of the frame rails? Wescotts drawings skip most of them in the drawing they provide, and my frame is so badly out of shape I don't trust most of it. Someone in the interweb...

    Seat riser anti-squeak material

Just removed the seat riser off the floor of the truch to straighten/weld it back to normal. Under the lip that contacts the floor pans is a very thin material of some kind. Surmise it was for anti-squeak, and after looking for it on-line, can't find anything like it. 1/16 welting is too...

Best way to get an unpackaged engine from Texas to Washington

What's been the experience of others here shipping an engine from residence to residence on a long distance trip like this? Need help. There has to be a better way to do this that doesn't cost $1200.00 or more for a 5 or 6 hundred dollar purchase.

    '36 Pickup rear end question

Hey folks, got a parts ID question for the rear end officianados here. I have disassembled my '36 pickup rear end. Unfortunately I found it a mess. Most of the bearings and cups are bad, ring and pinion bad, etc. So my parts book (Ford Chassis Parts Catalogue) shows that the bearings on the...

    '36 pickup king pin interchange

Maybe someone here has run into this and knows the answer. I'm rebuilding the front suspension on my '36 pickup. I'm putting '39 juice brakes on it and pulling the mechanical brakes and hardware. I want to R&R the king pins, and no longer need the cups on the pins to accommodate mechanical...

Any recommendations on frame shops in Seattle/Everett area?

'36 Pickup truck. My frame is majorly tweaked from a hit long ago and it was never repaired apparently. Not wanting to complete the project on a bent frame, I want to get it fixed properly. The front axle is also bent, or possibly the spindle, as laying a level up against the passenger tire...

WTB - 36 pickup grill shell

Need a complete grill shell for my truck project. As hard nosed and cheap as I am, I just think mine is too far gone to repair. As far as I am aware, the 36 grill shell is a bastid in that it has no interchange.

What happened to my posted picture?

I took the trouble to set up a picture gallery (here on Ford Barn), uploaded the pics, just so I could post one of them in a thread I started in an attempt to garner a response. After submitting it all, including the picture, I was notified it would not be posted until reviewed by a moderator...

'36 1/2 ton pick up cab dimensions

Hey folks, Got a question on where a guy would find original cab dimensions. Such as a body shop would use to pull a crashed cab back into spec. My truck was apparently hit many years ago on the right side. The front fender front brace is bent and has been replaced, and the frame x member on...
