I have a 49-53 engine that I want to open up to check what condition my condition is in. Do I need to replace the head bolts or can I reuse what I have, assuming (naively) that they all come out ok. If I replace them, should I do bolts or studs?

I come to you fully hat in hand. Is the fly wheel pressure fit to the crank or should I be able to remove it with a couple swift taps of the hammer after I take the bolts out? I may have bitten off just a tad bit to much in this afternoons project. Thank you! T

‘36 roof insert question Is there supposed to be something on the bottom of the channel between the metal and the rubber that pushes the vinyl/canvas top? When I was removing the crazy old baked in stuff, it seemed like the was a layer of stuff under there.
