I'm having a problem getting the points cam off the distributor shaft. The hold-down screw was extremely tight and now that I have it off the cam it will not slide off the shaft. I'm putting new points in and want to reset the timing and remove the top plate. Any Suggestion??? Jim

I'm trying to remove the fan and pully from a water-pump so I can put it on another pump. Is this press fitted onto the water pump shaft? I put a puller on it but it is not budging and am afraid of busting or bending the pully. So, how to get it off properly is the question. Thanks Jim
