I have another question about spark plugs. Hope is doesn't sound dumb. On my 1953 with offy heads I have Autolite plugs. I'm thinking of trying NKG plugs. My question is would the gaps be the same?

Try to find a copper crush washer for the oil pan drain plug. does anyone know where to find one. I checked e-bay and the sizes they show are just confusing. Thanks for any help. It's on a 53' 239.

On my 53 239 every now and then when starting you get a water come out of the exhaust. Recently I put new points and plugs in it and now have a slight miss and the moisture that comes out is black. Does it sound like it's to retarded and needs to be advanced? Thanks for any suggestions.

I may have mention this before. I'm planning to put front disc brakes on my 53. I had planned on putting a booster on it but have been measuring the space and don't have the room for the booster. Without the booster will the car brake better then with the drums or will it be about the same...

I'm going to put disc brakes on the front of my 53 customline. I'm going to have to move some wires to make room for the booster. The wires are the old cloth covered. A lot of it is rapped with tape . Are the wires under the hood all the same size? If so what size? Thanks
