I'm working on the '31 brakes: front actuating arms are straight up vs 15 deg fwd. I have Ford A Mechanics Vol. 1. Do I need Vol 2 to shed light on the way to adjust this?? thanks in advance Tom Allan

I have a bunch... the Andrews book Ford A Mechanic Vol 1 is good, but not perfect. (especially the brake section that glosses over a few issues that you will always face if doing a complete job) Take pics & notes as you go! If it's bi-lateral, do one side at a time.

I'm sure someone always says make it "perfect", but are these really worn enough to justify (rivet) removal, welding, grinding etc. for this amount of wear? (I'm making all clevises etc tight)

backing plates/brakes aren't inverted: wheel cylinders are at the top

I can easily see the brake bleeders at the tops of the front backing plates: where are they on the rears???
