Thanks. I got into the gas tank welting with the buffer. Did not take but a second to take the paint off of it. Touched it up though and barely noticeable. Just when you think you are done........

This 30 AA body was covered in Kool Seal and red paint. The rust out areas required replacement. The body was so rusted I was afraid to sandblast. $1500+ was not in the budget for a better condition truck cab. So, here it is. Very pleased!!!

Enjoying the time and laughs with my Dad, but sand, sand, sand. I don't have a paint booth, and the humidity in North Alabama is about 101%. My clear coat clouded up. Sanding for second coat of paint. No clear this time.

I thought so too. The rear header was in too poor condition to tell about it's wood type.

I used poplar. It's what I had left over from the bed construction.

It wasn't. But I only had the one.

Rear header is complete and reproduced the missing wood over curved roof panel. Had one original for pattern. Not too bad!! Buying the front header.

I have installed the radiator shell on the AA. It had a steel, painted commercial shell when I got it, put very pitted. I didn't notice a gap between the front of the shell and the radiator. I replaced that shell with a stainless commercial shell that I sandblasted and painted black. It and...

I assure you, not a spot on this fender a magnet wouldn't jump to.

Going from this.....to this.....is worth the sore arms from hand rubbing and buffing!

What is the piece called that resembles a dash panel, only screws to the pillar posts on the outside just above the gas tank? Is it reproduced?
