Elbow grease, sheet metal work, and paint

This 30 AA body was covered in Kool Seal and red paint. The rust out areas required replacement. The body was so rusted I was afraid to sandblast. $1500+ was not in the budget for a better condition truck cab. So, here it is. Very pleased!!!

Thanks. I got into the gas tank welting with the buffer. Did not take but a second to take the paint off of it. Touched it up though and barely noticeable. Just when you think you are done........

On the welting, should it be body color or black? Mine is painted but I've aways wondered if that's correct.

I believe the Gas tank was installed in the cowl with the welting prior to painting.
