Thanks everyone I really needed those details. I suspect the carb is kick *** as it runs great when warm to idile. I do appreciate SigmaR's direction to find its sweet spot to starting. Im sure it has devoloped a personallity all its own just need to fiqure her out bit more.

Any thoughts as to a good method to raise the drivers side door to better align it to the striker plate ? Right now I need to lift the door by window frame as I close it for it to latch. I suspect the old owner was in reverse with door open and jammed it up. the hinge is like 1/8inch plate.
