Aluminum oil pan has a small crack but could be repaired $800 Local pick up

Antique auto manufacturing has them. Doesn’t look like there’s too much repair panels available for the 26/27

It’s the male end threads that are bad. I threaded the fuel line on and the line leaked so I took the line back off and the pot metal threads were trash.

The new replacement one had bad threads on the male end inside the cab. The glass is fine.

I recently replaced my broken glass sediment bowl with a new one and the threads are absolutely horrible and got buggered up. Is there a glass sediment bowl that’s a good replacement? My cars a 31 coupe without an indented firewall.

That’s a good idea! If I run into it again I’ll give that a whirl.

That’s what I was thinking. Got a spare motor out back so I pulled that distributor and it has that piece so guess I’m ok. Thank you I’m learning about these cars.

Hi, I’m installing a fsi distributor in a 31. I pulled the original distributor out and it has a long one piece shaft. Do I need to buy a new shaft with a slot in either end to drive it? This is my first time pulling a distributor. Thanks!

Thank you! I don’t plan on using cowl lights cause I’m not a fan of drilling any extra holes if I don’t have too.
