I`m working on a 40 sedan for a friend. The ignition key is broke off in the switch. That is not really a problem. What I need to know is how can I get a new key cut? And what should I do to unlock the column so I can steer the car in the meantime?

I`m reassembling a 46-48 engine that was installed in a 40. The fuel pump rod was missing so I ordered one from macs. My question is does the washer/cup on the rod go towards the top or bottom?
