For Sale: 1947 Ford 1 Ton Panel Truck

Decent shape old truck for sale. Does not have original motor (sorry guys). I bought this truck very recently and decided that it's not for me. I would rather have a pickup instead. This panel is not perfect, but is in pretty solid shape except for some rust at the passenger right rear door...

1947 3/4 ton rear end rebuild questions

Hey thanks, I appreciate the input. Yes I believe my truck is the tonner. My guess was that it would require specific knowledge and tools that I do not have. I'm careful and have fixed a thing or two, but never a differential. I'll call around to see if a local guy is up to the task and...

1947 3/4 ton rear end rebuild questions

Howdy all, I don't post often, but I recently bought a 1947 3/4 ton Panel Truck and need some advice. The rear end is greasy and noisy. There's a bit of back lash at the yoke too. Ideally, I would like to get parts and fix this differential rather than switch it out and have to modify...

'47 Ford 3/4 Ton Panel rear end

Been a while since I posted...but I recently bought a 3/4 ton '47 Ford Panel truck. I haven't picked it up yet, so this post is a bit premature, but I can't help but think about this or that. It doesn't have the original motor and transmission...those have been replaced with the belly button...

    For Sale/trade: 1953 8rt

I have a good strong running '53 8rt for sale. It is totally complete, air cleaner to pan, fan to bell housing. I bought from the guy who had it rebuilt once and eventually decided to drop in a big block somethin' or other.... I believe it to be a very good motor with lots of miles left. I...

    Not a Ford, but....

I recently purchased a 1937 Hudson Terraplane from a fella in Georgia. Then decided to pack up my wife, fly there, and drive it home to the west coast in California. It's a pretty good looking car and is in very good condition. Nonetheless, I've had a water pump, fuel pump, ignition parts...

    1946 sedan delivery mysteries??

Lookin' for body panels and parts for my '46 sedan delivery. Floors and parts all the way to the body panels....bummer. I also need an original seat, springs, frame, etc... Does anyone have pics or books with photos and diagrams of what the body components look like? Someone has modified the...

    1952 8rt

Thanks Gumpy...isn't there a swap meet this weekend? If so, I'm gonna miss it....the in laws are coming in town for a visit. Next time. I'll run through the archives. Sometimes it's tough to phrase the questions correctly to get appropriate answers. thanks, Erik

    Swapping 8rt into 1946 sedan??

I thought I would re-phrase and repost my question. What kind of problems would a guy expect to find in putting a 1952 truck engine in my 1946 sedan delivery? New here to the game here, please forgive such a simple question. thanks, Erik

    1952 8rt

Hey guys, I'm looking to buy a 1952 8rt from a guy and was wondering if it would bolt up to my 1946 sedan delivery. From what I understand, it has a bolt on bell housing instead of one cast into the block. Does this difference make an issue for interchangeability? thank, Erik

    Pre-39 Flathead, complete

This engine is of unknown condition, but complete and turns over. It came with the sedan delivery I bought, but not original to the car. The guy said he had it running, but in a different car (??). I can take pics if you are interested. thanks, Erik
