Any word on how the weather looks for this years meet?
Am crossing my fingers for nice weather for a change.
Looking forward to meeting some barn members in person.
Thanks!
Does anyone know if a new slinger is made by a cnc company?
The ones form South America are awful and need too much trimming/grinding to fit and they are not even concentric.
Thanks

Don't have to drop the pan! Bump the engine around with the starter while holding downward pressure and it will slip right in! Or bump it and try dropping in again and you will catch the right tooth. Only takes a few tries.
Is there any way to change the stop point on how far the seatbacks tilt?
I find myself lately holding onto the steering wheel to keep myself upright instead of slouching way back if my back rests against the cushion.
Worse comes to worse I'll use a small pillow, LOL
:)Yes, every time I take a motor over I never want to leave!
I just drool over all the equipment they have as they just don't do Model A's. I saw a v-12 Lincoln, and a multitude of big six and straight eight engines together with the modern muscle car stuff as well.
In other words they do...
Great post Seth, love the pictures! Boy, what a shop! Wish I had some of that equipment, all state of the art from what I see. They have done several motors for me, all top notch!
You won't believe how it will run when you get it back!
J and M has done over 6 engines for me over the years. The crack repair is like open heart surgery, beautiful.
State of the art equipment that you won't find in the other shops.
I recommend them highly!
Give them a call.

What Herm said, absolutely!
I have had 4 engines done by J and M both T, A and v-8's. All beautiful and top notch!
I have personally seen several engines at there shop recently that were just done by so-called top rebuilders and now they are re-doing everything again after not even 500...
