I'm restoring a 1948 ford f1 PU. I have the original 6cyl(rebuilt) and have it mated to a T5 trans.The speedo works in the truck dash. The Speedo in the trans turns with the eng. running. What do I need to mate the two? All help deeply appreciated on this. Thanks Mike

Yes, the drag link is rubbing on the oil pan. Just changed engine to 8BA. I'm usually better at troubleshooting. My thoughts were steering gear box going bad. I'll raise engine to clear drag link. Thank you for the help. Mike

turns easy to right and back to center, steers hard center to left, thoughts on possible trouble. Thanks Mike

replaced the headliner in 49 tudor, took my time and didn't take out the front or back window. Came out very nice. I have since sold the car so can't post pictures. Just take you when cutting around the rear window.

can't find a good place to hook up the windshield wiper vacuum hose. The only place i see is where the distributer vacuum hooks up. Where did the wiper vacuum hook up on the original ford 6 cyl engine? Can I put a "T" in the distributer line? Thanks Mike

Rebuilding a 49 f1. I bought a rebuilt 6 cyl with a t5. Can't get the clutch to work right. Have a pull slave cylinder from speedway that seems to have air in it that I can't get out. Bench bled numerous times. Can't get more that an 1/2 inch throw in the truck. Get two inches on the bench. Any...
