1948 ford f1 PU

I'm restoring a 1948 ford f1 PU. I have the original 6cyl(rebuilt) and have it mated to a T5 trans.The speedo works in the truck dash. The Speedo in the trans turns with the eng. running. What do I need to mate the two? All help deeply appreciated on this. Thanks Mike

You need the speedometer cable assembly for a 48 F1 with that transmission. If that transmisssion wasn't availeble in that truc you may have to change the end fitting to match it. Tim

Rusty at Speedometer Service in Colorado can make a cable with the fittings you need. He made one for me to connect an AOD trans to a '54 speedometer. Quality work, fair price, and fast turn around. Worth a phone call. IMO
