Ya know I just had it idling in front of the garage after I hooked everything up today . Doin that , with the left lever all the way up , is how it ran the best . I wanted to see what it was gonna do before I took it out . Maybe I shoulda driven it .

I actually had the spark advance all the way up . It seemed to run better that way . Ill try it down . It just seems weird to me . I guess I will get a thermometer , but it was running hot . I remember my Grandpa tellin us he used to have an A , & could fix just about anything on it with a pair...

I only put in 2-3/4 gallons of a 50/50 mix , antifreeze & distilled water .

OK . Thanks to all you guys & gals for the info . & I guess I had better register it first .Then worry bout the tags . It is brand new to Cali. One more thing , I have found some on e-bay . How can you be sure that the tags are DMV cleared before you buy them ?

I was told if I found a set of matching # , original 1930 Ca license plates that were " DMV clear " , that I could use them on my 1930 Coupe . Does anyone know 'bout this ?
