1929 coupe I only have about 1/3 swing in the distributor window when moving the spark rod from full retard to full advance. The 1-3 movement is near the center of the window. is there a way to adjust this on the 28-29's. thanks for your assistance. Frank

I tried one on these on the bench. Looked like it was going to work one time. then it would not work again. used with incandescent bulbs.. maybe that was the problem Problem fried it. Will order a new unit. Thanks Frank

Problems solved. I was afraid to put sufficient muscle on the three adjusting wedges. i guess all the cars i have worked on have been worn enough that the adjusting wedges turned with a lot less force. while speaking with a fellow Model A guy he suggested i use a 12-point socket and a breaker...

Pulled the wheel and hub off and so not see anything, but the eyes i use are novice eyes. don't know what i am looking for.

I might add Car was hard to roll. thought it was the new transmission and OD. Now it is probably something in brakes. Wheels will all turn.
