32 5w lower deck lid panel

Educational to say the least to get closed rumble lid to match proper height of reveal molding of quarter panel. This is not a hinge adjustment cure. Closed it is at least 3/4" too low at rear edges. Front seems correct. I learned that regardless of vendors saying coupe and roadster hinges are...

    Alemite grease gun

There is no number on the gun only Alemite Lubricator and Alemite MFG Corp. The grease gun and crank/lug wrench extension are the last items I need to complete the tool kit.(I hope)

    `42-48 crabby distrib

Thanks Glen. Actually my points are like shown but a separate copper strip, is sandwiched on the brass post with 2 tails, one to each point set. The brass post I am referring to, is the one attached with rivets to the contact mounting plate. The pic you sent is a great repair to the hot lead...

    `42-48 crabby distrib

Repairing a crab cap distrib and the first thing I spotted under the cap was the broken copper connector between the 2 points and the brass post for the hot wire. This is made from .010 copper sheet. Not impossible to find but to replace the rivets etc and insulation seems excessive. Anyone have...

ASMC NO 236 Jack for 1932.

And there is another one very similar to above but has rivets holding the vertical body together rather than the crimp. Knob a little different as well.

ASMC NO 236 Jack for 1932.

I am just finishing up a collection of the included Ford tools with the 32 and just found the cast and forged ASMC jack. This was the "Other" jack as shown in the 32 book. I have been watching for one for a couple years and the very good as found unrestored jacks are green and not black. The...
