Educational to say the least to get closed rumble lid to match proper height of reveal molding of quarter panel. This is not a hinge adjustment cure. Closed it is at least 3/4" too low at rear edges. Front seems correct. I learned that regardless of vendors saying coupe and roadster hinges are the same, they are wrong. David R. 32 book has pics of the differences and original part #'s which I checked and yup, I have roadster hinges on a 5w. My first thought was to find correct B-47430 and B-47431 5w hinges. (If you have B-41546 and B-41547 you have roadster.) Visually the hinge is triangular in shape with the 2 pivot legs of different length on the coupe but equal length on roadster. This was because roadster quarters are very different and use a longer upper deck panel and lower panel which positions the lid differently. I was looking for the center height of the lower deck lid panel to confirm I had a coupe panel. At center it should be 9 7/8 to 10" for coupe and 9 1/2" for roadster with both having 9 3/8" end height. By installing the correct hinges I could have had the roadster panel and been looking at a repaint and striping of a new coupe panel. Hope this helps others.
