I joined the ford barn to help find parts to restore my 32 5window I injoy reading these posts I am a purist at this time un till the next project as far as original and safety you use comon sense you don't go on the freeway at rush hour with an old original car it wasn't made to do this in...

I don't know if the part number is the same but they defantly look the same

the generator will put out 12volts with a 12 volt regulator. The regulator dictates the voltage . If your changing from a positive ground to negative you have to change the polarity . good luck

the left side is installed with two pins and springs the right has one. that same kit should have rubber pads in it to go between the tank and the frame
