'36 Ford Door Hinge Seal Problem

Dick, The rocker panels have not been replaced on this Ford. They were pristine. As, Tom stated, the seals are too thick, period. When are the suppliers going to own up to the fact that their quality control is sub-standard??? Some of them take absolutely no responsibility for the quality of...

'36 Ford Door Hinge Seal Problem

I just installed the right door hinge seal on the '36 Ford 5-window Coupe. The door does not close or latch properly. It appears that the seal is either too fat or the incorrect durometer rubber. These seals are from Mac's and are supplied to them by Vintique. Has anyone else experience similar...

Does anyone know if there is any upholstery material or other boards between the bottom of the parcel shelf and the floor, or was it completely open to the trunk? Was the seat back the only thing that separated the passenger compartment from the trunk? I believe there is a board that goes...

'36 Ford Coupe Rear Shelf Wood

Sid, I have a rear shelf, however delaminated, that I can use for a pattern. What I am really interested in is how it and all the other wood pieces fit together to for the shelf and transition to the trunk. I'm really looking for a picture of how it's all tied together. Thanks, Dave

    '36 Ford Inner Fender Position

I found the answer when trying to mount the front fender. The inner fender upper rear lip goes on the outside of the cowl. This is necessary to slip the fender over top of the inner fender. Does anyone have a picture of the '36 Ford front fender welting installed??? Thanks, Dave

Hi, My buddy Bob and I are assembling a '36 Ford 5-window coupe with 8BA Flathead. We are very excited about installing the body this Friday, after three long years. Does anyone out there have a list of the required body to chassis bolts? Thanks much and Happy New Year, Dave Liverpool, NY
