'36 Ford Inner Fender Position

Now installing the front inner fenders to the frame. Does anyone know if the ear on the upper rear of the panel goes inside the ridge on the cowl or on the outside?
Any help would be appreciated.

I found the answer when trying to mount the front fender. The inner fender upper rear lip goes on the outside of the cowl. This is necessary to slip the fender over top of the inner fender.
Does anyone have a picture of the '36 Ford front fender welting installed???
