Don3527 -- Are you asking for pics of the rubber bumpers that go on the garnish moldings? If so, I chose not to install them as I didn't seem to need them. Richard
because I figure you can never have enough pics to show how it's done!
Note: since my B pillars are metal, I used a grommet for good measure on the door side of the B pillar.
Thanks, Karl. So it doesn't sound like there is a bracket or attachment inside the door. The strap just "floats" inside the door and is stopped by the T end. I think I got it, thanks again.

thanks in advance for your help!
So I read several posts here on how the door check strap attaches to the car. But I'm missing something or having a hard time visualizing it.
Picture #1 is from the Bob Drake catalog. It appears the straight end of the t-shaped strap mounts to the B...
I was just having this conversation with my wife tonight. Hopefully forums like this will be maintained in the future and add to our human knowledge. But that only works if we pass along the love of these old machines to our grandkids and other young people so there is future demand for the...
Thanks, DavidG.
I have a follow-up question. The garnish molding -- as I think of it -- is on the inside of the car. Is there some kind of "garnish" or trim molding on the outside of the car on the bottom edge of the window opening? I'm having a hard time visualizing your suggestions...

I have a '32 3W coupe. I have made glass templates out of 1/4" masonite (luan), and have installed them in the car with the window channels, glass channel, rubber setting channel and window regulator. I made the glass template so its bottom edge is...
Any help on this would be appreciated. I searched the forum but didn't find an answer.
I'm putting in new channels and window regulators, and the kit I purchased came with rubber pads for the window stops in the down position.
The structure of the stops is different between the left and right...
As a follow up, the rivets worked great! I used 3/32" stainless steel rivets with domed heads from McMaster-Carr.
Hardest part was drilling out the holes in the stainless steel buckets. I found it was easier to punch a starter hole then drill.
Once installed, no clearance issues when...
Gas prices for Supreme are $3 in Oregon. But I'm not worried about theft of gas. I'm concerned that some anarchist or hooligan wants to dump sugar or other junk in my gas tank. I'm building a driver and want to really use it, so it might be parked in public places. It all comes down to what...
Thanks in advance for any insights!
I'm getting ready to install a wiper system in my '32. When I got my original body it already had two holes drilled for wipers. But I've read here on Ford Barn that Ford didn't offer a solution for a second slave wiper until 1936.
I also noticed that...
