    Hershey

Under light pole 87 in the green field we had a good week. People keep telling me that our prices are too cheap, it's a hobby not a business. Didn't have much time to shop but I did find a few things that I don't need, but I liked them. Thanks for stopping by Wick it was good seeing you.

    Anyone recognize these?

The bottom one is a bracket to mount a toolbox on the front of 30/31 Model A. You would need 2 plus some other parts and a craftsman tool box. I used to make them from an article in the Restorer magazine 30 some odd years ago. It let you easily remove the toolbox to hand crank the car, but it...

    Experiences With 3.27 & 3.54 Gears

I don't run either gear set but do have a Mitchell overdrive 27%. Only modifications are 5.5 Snyders head, B distributor and single stromberg 97 on a Burns intake. I'm in overdrive from 35 mph and up with no problem keeping up. I've actually thought about going with the 3.54 gear set with the...

Which Model A parts are not Available/ Being made anymore.

Was told that the clock mirror that Snyders was selling will probably never be available. Tried the other one that was available on Ebay with the modern watch movement, cheap plastic mirror watch didn't last long. Put my original back in and bought a wrist watch with numbers I could read while...

    General jumbo wheels

I believe that they are 6" wide. The tread width is generally wider than than the rim width with th 16's. Some folks say that the all electric rav4 tire fits the 16" wheels well. I tried radials on my 16's and didn't like how they looked or fit the rim. Ended up with Cooker bias ply.

    General jumbo wheels

Hi, I think that I was fortunate to find 4, 14inch General Jumbo wheels with 7.50 14 tires mounted. The wheels are in very nice shape and although the chrome is probably long gone from the centers they have been power coated. They look nice on the car but the rear tires look out of place and...

    Weak Wiper

My vacuum wiper function really improved after I did a valve job on my engine. Put a good vacuum gage on your vacuum port and check engine vacuum. Your wiper may be telling you something.

    Door Latch Grease

Vaseline work for me. It's clear, clean and you probably have some in the medicine cabinet.

    looking for a machinist

All things considered it's probably more cost effective to buy one of the Burtz flywheels at this point in time. Surely wouldn't want to go to even an automotive machine shop who's not experienced with Model A's.
