Door Latch Grease

A few weeks ago I was complaining that my Victoria was ruining my shirts with grease from the door striker plates and dovetails. I have found a good product. This door latch lubricant is called Door-Ease Lube Stik made by AGS Automotive Solutions. The lubricant is more like a heavy wax. It is a light vanilla color, not a dark messy grease. The lubricant is applied like it is a crayon. I also used a screw driver to apply the lube inside the dovetails. It works great and should not harm fabrics. Ed

Door-Ease works good on squeaky fan belts too. I used to use it a lot back when cars had v-belts, didn't know that it was still available.

Ace Hardware stores usually carry the sticks of Door Ease. My favorite
store, Mission Hardware has it. Stores are in San Gabriel & Glendora Ca.
OR...Order it online and it will be shipped to your local Ace.

Saw a guy use a dab of car wax on his hinges and door latch. Chap-stik, Carmex, soap from the motel all work too.
