I have done this for a 56 T-bird and my 57 Ranchero both with manual disc and rear drums, I got mine from Autozone its for a 76 Maverick with manual front discs and rear drums part# NM1680 its new not a rebuilt for $62 been on my Ranchero for 12 years no problems.
Looking for one or a pair of 65-67 mustang- cougar OEM style front rotors that take the bolt on hub, must be usable as is or be able to be turned with a minimum of .780
I was there with my 57 Ranchero and say a car with # 2964, a lot of 46-48 fords from Canada at our Hotel. We were 1.6 miles from the fairgrounds and it took 1-1/2 hrs. to get to the entrance gate.
Does anybody know if somebody makes a dist. cap clamp on style with male connections hei style instead of the push in female style that would fit an OEM 65 small block ford distributor.
Is anybody running a Mallory unilite distributor with a y-block and overdrive ******. I can't seem to get a straight answer from there tech support whether or not it will damage the module when you shift out of o.d. My understanding is when you kick down the switch under the gas pedal to shift...
The 59 latches are a pretty popular swap in place of the 57-58 style, I put one on my 57 Ranchero about 10 years ago you can shut the hood with one finger instead of slamming it shut with the 57 style.
Re: Y-block ‘B’ intake manifold question
That will make a nice combination my buddy did it to his 56 F-100 with a 292, he is using a 500 cfm Edelbrock carb. runs great.
