Ron; A couple of 10 oz cans of Red Devil Lewis Lye (drain cleaner) in 5 Gal of Hot Hot water will melt all the varnish out. Leave it in till the tank is clean. Use gloves and face mask. Acid for the rust next. Walla, new tank. The lye mix is also good to to remove paint off parts.

I'me installing a 59AB in a stock 32 chassis and radiator and wonder what lower hoses to use? I'me making my own front moter mounts so can raise the motor just a bit.?? Thanks

Your John Deere Imp. dealer will have iron revets in many sizes and shapes and there cheap.

I just removed the spark plugs from a 1947 59A that sat in Minn. for the last 40 years. Water came out of the front cyl. and rusty deposits on some other plugs. Must have been water in the pan as dip stick shows rust and water deposits up about 6 inches. Where do they crack first? Heads...

I was told that I needed a 1939 Std. or Pickup generator that has the 4 holes in the pully to mount the fan to. I'm using a 59 AB motor in a 32 Ford. Can you help with parts. I think the pullly screws on? Thanks
