Thanks Chris and Sphanna. That is the reason I asked. I had been told the angle should be on top, but I can feel an upward angle at the axle end of the axle key channel.

I am having trouble getting my hub on with a new axle key. I know the taper goes toward the inside of the axle, but does the key go into the keyway with the taper down or up?

I drove my '28 coupe to the service station to put air in the tires today. It was running great! Got ready to leave and it would not go into any gear. The gear shift was moving properly, but none of the gears would engage. Any ideas where I should start?

This carb is on my 28 model A coupe(see attachment). I have seen pictures of Zenith and Tillotson carbs, but have seen nothing like it. It has a throttle adjustment, an idle adjustment, and a third adjustment at the lower front of the bowl. There is no name on the carb. I need to know how to...

Thanks. Would having a closer spark gap make it harder to start?

I just installed Champion W18 plugs in my '28 Coupe. Should I set the spark gap at .025 as recommended by Champion, or .035 like the W16Y plugs I had been using? It is running well, but really hard to start.
