If your going to do a compression test on a flathead is it best to remove all plugs before testing?

Does anybody make a remote starter button for a 6 volt system?

I've dealt with Charlie a couple of times. Earlier this spring I sent my duel action fuel pump from my 53. The post office said 3 days. 12 days later it showed up at Charlies. Empty. So he found enough parts to build one. Charlies the best, nice to deal with.

Just an update. I bought vacuum gage this morning and set the mixture screws and took it out. It ran smooth, knock on wood.

I did put a one way valve in the line to keep gs from draining back. I'm starting to wonder if under load it's restricting gas.

The thing is it ran fine with that carb before. I'll just have to keep playing with things.

t seems to idle smooth but under a load misses bad. I've tried the air fuel mixture and it doesn't help. I can make it run worse but can't get it to smooth out.

It seems to run fairly smooth at idle but when I put a load on it, it misses real bad and will not smooth out with the air fuel mixture.
