    Rear Main Janitor

Thanks. I built it with the tall wall to have a -5* angle so it clamps on. The pull handle thingy would just be in the way as it's already a pain to get that bolt in in the first place. Regards Bill

    Rear Main Janitor

Hey All, When I started this thread I was asking for the dimensions to the rear main janitor the vendors sell and came up empty. I made a quick drawing from the one I made just in case anyone else that wants to try their hand at fabricating one for themselves. I have added a .jpg file to the...

installing Strobe in Brake light circuit

Is yours the same as the one in the picture? My guess is for positive ground, red to the frame side of the circuit, and black to the LED's. V-in still goes to the battery side and out goes to the lights. Regards Bill

    Rear Main Janitor

Thanks Guys, The Master Cylinder No spring needed. The tall wall that mounts to the flywheel housing has a -5°angle to it. It's nice and snug. David in San Antonio Oil fill up is 4.5 qts, draining is 4 qts. 5qts if you remove the oil pan. After my first oil change after I removed the pan, I...

    Under dash storage shelf

Looks like it could be made pretty easily. I'd try steam bending some 1/2" - 5/8" diameter wood dowel over a form, wrap it in leather and make the netting from wicker or nylon netting. Regards Bill

    Rear Main Janitor

I change the oil EVERY 500 miles, just about once a month to the day and I'm only draining 4qts so I'm dripping 1/2qt between oil changes. Not serious, but enough to the point that I don't want my customers cleaning up my oil mess. Today, I let them see me put an old pair of jeans under the car...

    Rear Main Janitor

Fixing the leak would cost thousands which I don't currently have to rebuild the motor. When I opened her up to do the valves a couple years back, The pistons are .100" over and there are still scratches in the cylinder walls. I've been looking for a decent used motor for years with no luck...

    Rear Main Janitor

Hey All, My A has started leaking oil at the rear main leaving drips in front of my customers house's. When I saw one of my customers cleaning my oil mess in the street in front of their house, I figured it's about time to get one. I'm wanting to know if anyone has the dimensions to make one...

    Aluminum foil around gas line?

I'd try to figure out why your running so hot in the first place. I live in the SoCal desert and in the 17,000 miles in my daily driver 31 Tudor, I have yet to encounter vapor lock. In the summer, I drive in 110* - 115* weather all the time and have never had an issue with the infamous vapor...
