Hi, I'm going to put a 12-volt am/fm solid state radio into my '46 with a 6-12 converter. I was wondering if the stock antenna on my car will work with fm or should I buy a modern antenna? Thanks in advance for any thoughts, suggestions. etc. Dan

Any advantage to using a hotter plug than Champion H-10 in a rather tired 59A? Plugs are currently very black although electrodes are not burnt and I don't know how old they are so I thought I'd just replace them. Also, could a hotter plug do any harm and what would a good replacement plug be...

I'm looking at a nice '55 Fairlane, older restoration, and thinking about buying it. It has a round, ping-pong-ball-sized gear shift knob on the 3-0n-tree. That doesn't seem right to me. Weren't they originally elliptical, sort of rounded and elongated? Thanks, Dan
