My '39 ford is losing radiator fluid in the overflow when running. I have filled the radiator up to the top and when running it loses fluid through the overflow line. What'S up? Thanks for suggestions. Bernie

    bleeder tubing size

1939 Ford The bleeder screw has an end opening of about 1/8 inch diameter. Can I use a 1/8 inch plastic tubing or must I use a tube size that I can put over the end of the bolt? It is an original bolt. Thanks Bernie

    Fadig brakes

Charlie, The brakes are relatively new ones and the problem developed slowly and is now very unsatisfactory. I drive the car only like once a month. When they were originally working they worked very well and that was probably six months ago. Thanks

    cold start

Temperatures in the storage garage 0 - 10F and choke helps some to get started. A little gas poured into carb also helps but not much. I have 10% ethanol blend -- does this make cold weather starting harder? Any suggestions ?

Thanks, with the bottom cushion out I can see the straps that you mention. I will get the bolts going through the floor loose. I notice that they are almost solid rust but will start to work on them.

    1939 speedo

Hi, My speedometer was acting erratic, jumping around and noisy, and suddenly there was a "pop." I had lubricated the speedo a couple years ago and it had been working fine. Anyhow, the speedo is dead in the water just now. I disconnected the cable and when I ran the car the cable wasn't...
