Short in primary wiring??

39 Ford cranks very well but no spark at plugs -- lights OK Where to look first for possible short??

Check for power at the ignition coil. If you have no pwer there check the resistor under the dash. If its good check the ignition switch itself. If you do have power at the coil you could have a bad coil or condenser.
