I am putting the felt window channels in a 39 Pickup. Whats hold in the felt channel around the top of the door. I have in the kit supplied some small screws about 25 not sure where they go. The push in clips also supplied I have used either side of the glass at centre of the door.

Reason I asked about the gauges is that I am in the process of rewing the pickup with help, Would the battery level/voltmeter gauge be wired in differently from the ammeter. It looks like a ammeter is wired directly to generator, where the battery gauge is wired via the ignition switch

The set of gauges for my 39 pickup has a battery level indicator(H,N,L) I have seen a amp gauge for a 39 with the level of charge. What gauge should the 39 pickup have (batt or Amp). Presumely the batt level gauge should be wired differently from a amp gauge

Thanks there is a gap between hood and cowl with hinges up the other way. With the right angle peice on the bottom it sits on the cowl alright but there is a gap between side panel and hood probably 1/4 inch on right and 1/2 inch on left, looks like I am going have a bit of work to get it aligned
