OK all. I have been doing a lot of searching and research and found a supplier of the 1/16th inch semi tubular rivets a bit longer than those provided with the new irons so all is well. My thanks to everyone who took the time to address this issue for me.

Thanks for the input joe. Unfortunately I don't have the woodworking tools or skills to make my own. I was hoping to find a source of longer rivets to accommodate the new commercial boards sold by the parts supplier.
Looking for input on finding the right length floorboard reinforcing iron rivets. The ones that come with the irons are too short when used with new floorboards. Not enough "meat" below the board to peen over. I am guessing that this is because the new boards are thicker than the originals. Does...
All of the parts suppliers have been on back order for months on the 30-31 floorboard reinforcement irons. The early irons are available. Has anyone modified the early irons to match the late irons?
Thanks for the input. FWIW, my research has found a model A parts company in Britian that still sells the hollow studs as original. Not real keen on ordering from such a long distance though.
As to the shocks, I have not been able to reach John Holland. Looks like he is retired as noted by others.
Looking for a source of the carpet studs with the correct end that needs to be peened over. All the parts suppliers have the studs with the threaded end, which is of course not correct.
Also looking for a recommended source to rebuild a set of shocks.
I have found a guy on E Bay that advertises that he "bought out" Carlton Glass? He says he has them available but I know nothing of him or his company. Either Ford or TriPlex available with date. Does anyone know if it would be correct to do the side windows as well on a mid 31 cabbie?
Who sells the etching kits for model A's? Looking for the correct one for a June 1931 68C. Also, did Ford put any "bugs" on the side windows for that car? Thanks.
