What would be the most user friendly tachometer for a Model A, and where to purchase one..
Bert's has an analog tach for 6v that's the 2 1/16" size for $149. Check it out.
This is a BuzzTach. Originally made by Buzz Pound. I think it might have been based on a Westach insides.
Model A red line at 7200 RPM?
That eggnog must have been extra strong this year.LOL
I copied that link from a previous post. Amazon must have changed it, but it's fixed now.Your link does not work, for me. http://www.amazon.com/Auto-Meter-2697-Z-Series-Tachometer/dp/B00062YWB0?tag=atomicindus08-20
That one will.
$124.00, I wonder why they cost so much. The same model in 0-6k is only $50.
bought mine at autozone. I believe it was only $30.
I know I am being anal about this but it has bugged me for years.
The face plate on a tac should read RPM/1000 not X1000 . The number you read 3, 4, 5 etc is the actual RPM divided by 1000 not x 1000.
There I feel better.
