My 1936 has a hot water heater and when I turn the switch on nothing happens. The heater hoses don't feel like any water is circulating through. Not sure how it should work.
call me.ken ct.The way it is connected is one hose goes to a tap in the top hose and the other hose goes into the side of the water pump. Water doesn't seem to be getting in the hoses tho. Not sure if there is a thermostat
Lawson, all the water from the engine is going into the top rad hosefrom the WP to be cooled in the rad.Any water comming out of the pump no matter which hole is under slight pressure. You cant try to force a stream of water back into the pump through the drilled hole or through the sending outlet hole. The water must be routed to the bottom rad hose. Dont know if this expla. makes sense to you but thats how mine is hooked up and works perfectly for yrs now.A lot of folks drill and tap the water pump instead of the hose.
