What did you do today that was flathead V8 related?

Got the front clip mostly together on the 47(with 46 grille). Had a hard time with the red in the grille bars. I suck at pinstriping. I tried using a Buegler but the stainless is too slick and the wheel would not turn properly. I might take it all off and use some pinstriping tape. But it just won’t look as good as the paint.

I swapped the transmission in my ‘50 for one out of a parts car…..lost a couple teeth off of 2nd gear….what a racket that made…….Mark

Dove into wiring on 32 roadster. All new cloth wiring so figured it was OK. Yep it wasn’t. 40+ spade connectors from headlights to just before steering box. They were all neatly heat shrinked. The worst part high beam ended and was heat shrinked.Ground was not very good. Headlight switch was …. Well fused one but brake lights/horn on wrong side of fuse. Than i went to tail lights…..18 connectors in less than 6 ft. All nice nos style wire loom. So it no longer exists. The plus after a few hours of work….nice bright lights and high beams. All soldered and heatshrink dielectric grease with only couple connectors. I guess builder used short lengths of cloth wire. On to next
