Hood stays/ supports

Do the hood rods need to be removed to install these type of stays ? Does anyone have a photo ?

Yes, just remove one at a time and slide them on.

Yeah, I bought 2 set myself. Couldn't pass up $2.99 each.

In the front, at the radiator, mark the positions of the nuts so that they go back is the same location. On my car I just loosen one nut on each rod and remember which nut I loosened. Not sure if the nuts can remain on when putting on the stays.

You are correct, the nuts have to be removed. That is why I said to remove one at a time.

I suggest you glue the black protectors on also. they come off easily. I used 'The Right Stuff'.
