Note to Y-Blockhead Tried finding the information on the 1125 bulb and it is not a headlight bulb according to info on donsbulbs. Would like some more info on this if it a correct bulb for the headlight application. The candle power is quite high if in fact a 125/75 candle power. Would like to know the current draw.

Oops, I meant to put a link in my post. Mike has it right. https://www.ronfrancis.com/prodinfo.asp?number=B-1125 I don't know why they would be illegal in "some states" They sure are not any more blinding than some of the lights on some of the new off shore cars if they are adjusted correctly....
I wonder what states they are illegal in? Nobody has said anything to me, but then again I try to avoid driving my Town Sedan after dark.
As an example in NY under section 375 vehicle equipment, lighting states; "(c) No lamp shall be used on a motor vehicle having a light source greater than thirty-two candle power, unless such lamp is approved by the commissioner as provided by this section. "
I could not find anything in Florida that has to do with headlight output except for height from the ground.
