Ok here's the deal...
Here in Canada they have been phasing out most of the paints we are familiar with. By the end of this year, or sooner
... PPG acrylic urethane as we know it will be N/A.
I believe this has already happened in most of Europe and certain states...California?
I can't get much info at this point on the new "low voc" paints, as the transition has caused a frenzy at the local paint stores....nobody seems to know what to expect.
*My question* ....has anybody on here tried the NEW low voc single stage acrylic urethanes, & might possibly give me ANY idea what to expect in terms of sprayability and performance
I'd rather not rush out and buy my paint now... as the car is far from ready for paint and I'd rather not have expensive paints sitting around.
Is there hope that the NEW stuff will give us acceptable results on our Model A's?
Thanks to all for the help & advice with black urethane earlier today. You guys have some beautifull cars!
