Hello, looked for a welcome or new guy section for a while but couldn't find one so Ill just introduce myself. My names Cory, I just acquired a 29 Business coupe and thought I better find a place to talk to other A owners. I'm not new to wrenching or fabrication, I'm a regular on The Chopper Underground and have built a few bikes. But this is my first A, think Ill just lurk around and see if I can learn something.:D

lol dont lurk, come on in and ask your questions,99% of the guys are very friendly, you will soon find out who the other 1% are, and there is no problem they cant figure out, im mostly a v/8 flathead guy, but i do know a little about the A's, at least the guys havent thrown me out yet

Just bought it from a good friend at the senior home association I work at. She runs fantastic so no questions yet, thats a first, lol...................Its a 25 year old restoration thats holding up quite well. Ill be looking into a new top, but with that will probably come paint also. Couple little leaks but not enough to even want to crawl under yet. Sorry about the giant pic, lol....................Cant seem to remove it. More builds.

Nice couple of bikes. You will get to know Steve C. as he is into very early orginial bikes and also Model "A' s. Welcome and one question to ask... What made you buy the Model "A"? Good price or something different to own?

I'm just removing old wax, grime and dirt from the old paint job so I can do my touch up painting right now. have a few bubbles on the cab, thought I might invest in an air brush for some touch up there.

welcome to the barn thats a nice car you acquired there. i am not a big bike person but what a heck of a job you did on them. enjoy your A and any questions arise there are a great group of experts here. its amazing how much can be learned on a car thats so simple.

Welcome! The Model A hobby is a very friendly group as you will discover. There is a lot of knowledge and talent on this site, but you should look into joining a local chapter too.

Nice car. Nice work on the choppers, is the black Yamaha a 650?
Yes Sir, 1980 Yamaha xs650 special. At least the motor is, lol............ I'm proud to say that won first place in last years Chopper Underground biker build off and will be printed in The Horse back street chopper magazine in December. It was a fun bike to build.;)

Welcome to the Fordbarn. Nice car and in good shape for an older restoration. I'am just up the road from ya in Mill Creek. Maybe we can get together sometime and talk A's. Don

Neat car. I really like the business coupes. Wish there were more around, meaning I wish there was one in my garage!!

Welcome to the Model A world. I'm one of the more mechanically challenged ones here, and have received lots of help from the more talented regulars.

Welcome Cory
I think you'll love the Ford Barn. We really enjoy answering questions about Model As. I hope you will join a local chapter of MARC or MAFCA. That's where the real fun is.

welcome to Bothell, for a day or a lifetime!

Congratulations.I hope you enjoy "A"s as much as me. Chuck from west hill kent

Thanks guys...............:D I'm living proof of how helpful a forum full of knowledgeable guys can be. Never broke into a motor in my life other than top end stuff till I joined TCU. I could weld and paint, fabricate and what not but when it came to tearing motors completely down I didn't have a clue. Something as simple as an on line forum gave me the confidence to move foreword with projects I never would have attempted on my own.

Probably the only thing I appreciate about computers is the INTERNET and the knowledgeable people you can meet. I looked at other A sites but this one seemed family oriented, friendly and easy to work with.
